About Me

Adrian grew up on a little island south of the Malay Peninsula. As a young boy, he was interested in science and first relished the thought of being a doctor. Unable to make it to medical school, he decided to pursue his interest in microorganisms.

After graduating Adrian decided to sieze the day and struck out on his own with some friends. The Internet was hot! He left a lab-based career and sought gold in developing web solutions for small companies.

Torn between his love for Biology and Computer Science, Adrian eventually decided to pursue a career in Bioinformatics. After more than 8 years in the field, he is again at crossroads, trying to decide on the next lap.

[Update 2009-02-18] I'm back to using PGP for sending secured messages. So if you wish to send me encrypted messages, you may do so with my public key published below. I will be posting a new blog on how to get started with PGP. Stay tuned.
